Sino Group

The goal

Landmark South and One North are Sino Group’s office space developments in Wong Chuk Hang and Yuen Long respectively. To maximise sales, Sino Group commissioned Voltage X to produce short videos for their sales kit.

 

The Strategy

After a site visit, Voltage X decided to employ separate strategies for each development, emphasising their unique selling points. To bring out the human touches surrounding Landmark South, Voltage X shot an immersive POV video using a drone, walking the audience through the Grade A office’s floors and the 9,000+ square feet sky garden, which is enveloped in greenery. As for One North, the anticipated advantages of being located in the Northern Metropolis are brought forward with clear graphics.

 

The Result

Both videos were successful in encouraging sales. For instance, One North Plaza has successfully leased 180,000 square feet of floor space by the end of 2023, more than 80% of total floor space in the first office building, with tenants such as the MTR Corporation.

The goal

As an integrated art hub, H Queen’s hoped to promote local art to the general public through an engaging media project. Voltage X hence created a video series inviting local art visionaries to share their stories related to art. The series aims to introduce the venue’s unique gallery lineup, while fostering the appreciation for art.

 

The Strategy

Our team decided to launch a campaign that consists of interview-like short videos, a format well-liked by local viewers. We invited one art visionary for each gallery to narrate their stories and give their unique insights into art exhibitions. 

The series, Elevated Artistic Encounters, takes viewers on a tour of the four galleries at H Queen’s. The space’s uniqueness is highlighted, such as its vertical design and immersive interiors. In the era of the internet and artificial intelligence, H Queen’s strives to emphasise the significance of physical exhibitions that foster authentic human touches, interactions and perceptions.

 

The Result

The series obtained coverages from top-tier publications, including Tatler Hong Kong, Ming Pao Weekly, Art & Piece, and Sing Tao Daily. The video series had reached almost a million people, with close to 1.5 million total plays.

The Fleming Hotel is one of the most iconic boutique hotels in Hong Kong. Working with design firm A Work Of Substance, The Fleming has the unique cross-harbour ferry inspired interior design that exudes a maritime theme that embraces the Hong Kong of yesteryear.

   

 

Strategy

Voltage X provided a three-pronged approach in order to increase The Fleming’s online presence, build up their brand and also drive traffic to their website for direct booking. We utilised tactical social campaigns, smart community management and influencer marketing collaborations. With this, Voltage X launched an online campaign targeting millennials, which are always looking for the best hotel online with tactical offers to drive traffic to The Fleming’s website. Through constant interaction with followers and speaking from their POV, we are able to build a cohesive online community with a significant number of User Generated Content (UGC). We have collaborated with travel and hospitality bloggers to share reviews so as to attract target audiences to The Fleming’s Facebook, Instagram and website.

 

 

Key Result

As a result, both The Fleming’s Instagram and Facebook accounts have increased tremendously in terms of following and engagement rate. Most importantly, we were able to reach The Fleming’s target audience, not only regionally but also internationally. Traffic to the website has also improved significantly following a successful online campaign.

WOOBAR opened it’s doors when the W Hotel in Hong Kong opened in 2011, ever since it has been a staple for patrons and nightlife lovers to enjoy fabulous cocktails in an effortless, sophisticated and glamorous establishment with an atmosphere that excudes chic and post moderness through their interior design.

   

 

Strategy

WOOBAR’s aimed to reboot their social media marketing with the intention of re-establishing their brand image, increase brand awareness, boost exposure of their unique selling points and to grow their following on their popular yet inactive Facebook page. In order to accomplish this, Voltage X took an omnichannel marketing communication approach and developed an omnichannel user experience by creating different curated content for both Instagram and Facebook. We also decided to use social media paid promotions to accurately identify and target WOOBAR’s audience on both social media platforms.

 


Key Result

As a result, we were able to consistently achieved positive results when targeting our ads and out of the 46 ads we created for WOOBAR, 33 of those ads achieved a cost per click rate (CPC) of under HK$1. Within a 4-month retainer period, our curated content and ads were able to increase Woobar’s Facebook likes and Instagram following by 21.2% and 36.8% respectively. Furthermore, through reinstating the W Hotel’s guidelines for WOOBAR’s social accounts, we were able to successfully re-establish the correct visual direction and brand tone that W Hong Kong required.
